EBC Brakes Racing Reclaims Lead

Dubai, UAE, 1 May 2021:  Polesitter EBC Brakes Racing (#10) lost the frontrunner position to Dojomoto (#9) in the initial laps the 2021 Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship Powered by EBC Brakes opening round, but just before midnight the team regained the top spot.

Out of 31 teams in qualifying, early favourite EBC Brakes Racing grabbed pole position with a best lap time of 1:10.712 on the 1.2-kilometre International Circuit at Dubai Kartdrome, but team Dojomoto, starting from P4, took over the lead within the first hour of the seven-hour endurance race.

Dojomoto and sister team Dojo Power (#11) controlled the contest early on but EBC Brakes Racing made up six places to reclaim the lead.  Veteran team Gamma Racing (#28) and newcomer Porsche FANStastic 2 (#14) are also both in the chase.
